Come and get to know one of our exhibiting SYSTEMS artists - Dasha Ilina! On Saturday 30 September (12:30 - 15:30), Dasha will be present at the Vantaa Art Museum Artsi, where she will be conducting interviews with locals and visitors to expand her Advice Well Taken: Folk Tales of Digital Salvation project.

Advice Well Take intends to document ''the folk strategies around the uses of technology, with a specific focus on saving damaged or dying devices, and the sharing of mythologies to explain the obfuscated workings of algorithms used in social media applications''.

Come chat with the artist, and share your own stories, hacks, tricks and tips of handling technology, and become part of this exciting project! 

This work was realised within the framework of a European Media Art Platform residency program at IMPAKT [Centre for Media Culture] with support from the Creative Europe Culture Programme of the European Union.

Dasha Ilina on tavattavissa Artsissa lauantaina 30.9. klo 12:30 - 15:30, jolloin hän haastattelee halukkaita museokävijöitä laajentaakseen Advice Well Taken: Folk Tales of Digital Salvation -taideprojektiaan. 

Advice Well Taken -taideprojekti dokumentoi ''teknologian käyttöä koskevia strategioita, joissa keskitytään erityisesti vahingoittuneiden tai kuolevien laitteiden pelastamiseen ja mytologioiden jakamiseen sosiaalisen median sovelluksissa käytettyjen algoritmien toiminnan selittämiseksi''.
